I'm back

I think I am refreshed. I am sure waiting for turkey later.
Today is going to be a busy one.
We had a couple nightmares this weekend.
Plumbing. My husband swears a lot when he does plumbing.
First off let me tell you a story.

So Friday of a long weekend. I got off work early and came home had a nap and life was good. Did a couple things around the house..
I have discovered Farmville too on Facebook. Very addicting.
Anyway. Mas is in the basement taking apart the laundry tub trying to unclog it. So 20 minutes later he says run the kitchen sink....I go up stairs and do that. I hear STOP..which I know (without being told) that my kitchen sink now leaks into the basement because he cut out the laundry tub.

Now if I was given notice that this was going to be happening on Friday night..I would have made sure all the dishes were done..nope..counter full of dirty dishes.

So I ask WTH..and he said well I wanted to have it all ready so I knew what I need because Rona is having a scratch and save event..etc..I just looked at him.

So Saturday we get up and we have a few things to do. We go to Rona and we both agreed that buying a lot of plumbing supplies would be better (we can always return them) better to have more than to be short.

So fine we get home I said I am going to the laundry mat (yes my dryer is still screwed) I said you fix the plumbing I will go to the laundry mat. Better I wasn't here for the plumbing.

I get home just over an hour later and he said it took only 20 minutes to fix the problem. He has cleaned up the kitchen and everything is good. And I had a new and clean laundry tub installed as well.

So Sunday we took back all the parts that were left over..there were a lot of parts.

Today we are cooking our Thanksgiving dinner and inbetween I am cleaning my bedroom.
Going to be an interesting one today.
I will throw our cook from frozen stuffed Butterball (bought on sale at Walmart) turkey breast shortly and then I will go into my hole of a room and start cleaning.

I just wrote my plan of action for it and will post shortly and I have to accomplish it today. To many cloths need to be put away for this not to work out for me today.

Meal planning this week is going to be great.

We have a lot of food in the house right now..plus we will have left overs from today.

Food Basics in our area is going out of business. I never go into that store, I have a couple times and then swore I would never go back. It was just dirty and hard to maneuver around..just wasn't a great store. So they have a sign posted 25% off everything in the store. So we went in to get pantry items. And did we ever. We stocked up on certain items..our freezer and pantry are just full.

So menu planning this week will be interesting. I know Mas will not want turkey for dinner if he is having turkey sandwiches. So I think a lot will be frozen. I am not making a lot of sides for dinner tonite..or let me re-phrase that I am not making a huge quantity of sides.

Well I need to figure out this cook from frozen turkey.
