Garbage Day YAY!!!

We have garbage pick up every 2 weeks. We are allowed 4 bags only.
We do have compost (food waste) pick up every week the same with recycling.

But Monday nights in our house every two weeks it's exciting, we are so happy to be getting rid of the bags.

We do not have a garage which causes problems with storing our garbage. We cannot leave the garbage in the garbage pails because the city will not collect garbage in pails. So it is just chaos.

I have to say we do recycle a lot more. I don't mind the green bin which is our compostable stuff. Just don't like the raccoons and such getting into it.
Now that winter is coming and it is colder out. We can move the green bin into the sunroom because it won't smell. Makes it a lot easier to get too and saves us from cleaning it up to get into our cars. Yes the nasty raccoons like to throw the green bin against our cars and spread the food out right where you need to step to get into your vehicle..and I am sorry but at 5:50am the last thing I want to be dealing with is garbage.

Those raccoons are huge too.. I have a story that I will share another day when I have the time to type it out.
